Employment History
November 2015-August 2017
Employer: Unitemps. Role: Brand Ambassador
(selected and recommended for position by tutor)
I got involved with prospective students that were coming for their interviews, open days and activities like an art and design tester day. I would interact with people from all different backgrounds and get to know them so I could offer them the right advice. I would have a friendly and open attitude when welcoming them, helping guests who were uncomfortable being in the situation to feel a bit more at home. I would also feedback on how the event went and offered suggestions about how to improve future events and marketing for the university.
2011-2013
I took on a part time role helping clean and tidy for an elderly man once a week. I am caring and passionate about people, whether this is helping them out or getting to know them or just doing them a service, I find joy in helping or pleasing people.

Voluntary experience

Volunteering at the Attenborough Arts Centre, Leicester, helping out with mentally ill adults in creative sessions where we would collaborate and explore a project together. I would enjoy getting involved, motivating people and aiding them in using the resources and drawing. I was also given the leading role to set projects on some occasions and it felt very rewarding.

I have also done some volunteering in schools helping assist in the classroom so I have experience with children. I also have extended family with young children and love helping out and engaging in activities with them.

During my school years I did two weeks work experience in an office environment helping in a company that dealt with multi-media replication, involving printing on disks, copying to disks and handling the admin roles.
